Staff Accountant
PicoBrew is seeking a highly qualified candidate to begin an internship as a Staff Accountant. We seek a highly motivated intern to work full-time during the summer and part-time during the school year. There is the potential and history for interns to transition to full-time roles after graduation. This position will report to the Controller and will be exposed to all of the functions in the Finance Group. A strong working knowledge of Quick Books is critical as the position will be responsible for invoicing, Accounts Receivable management, inputting Accounts Payable invoices and processing payments. Experience with Office, Word and Excel are also required. The company operates in a fast paced environment. Must be an excellent communicator, highly motivated and work well with others. Supply Chain Specialist
PicoBrew is seeking a supply chain specialist to join our operations team, and work out of our Seattle headquarters and Renton production facility. The individual will be responsible for managing inventory levels, executing purchasing, as well as providing planning and project timelines to our sales and executive team. The successful individual will help minimize stock-outs, optimize inventory investment, and meet execution timing commitments. The coordinator reports to the Director of Supply Chain and Manufacturing. This position is a full-time role located in our headquarters in Seattle’s Wallingford neighborhood. Time will also be spent at our fulfillment center in Renton. Some overseas travel to key vendors may also occur. One last thing… we live in the beer industry, so interest in beer is a plus!   • Effectively manages inventory levels to maximize sales
  • Qualifies new vendors and ensures ordered materials consistently meet quality specifications
  • Creates Purchase Orders to support the needs of manufacturing, and effectively manages open PO’s
  • Collaborates with accounts payable to verify invoice accuracy
  • Continually drives down costs across supply chain
  • Maintains adequate inventory levels of all packaging and ingredients to meet production needs
  • Institutes systems and processes to minimize effort and automate management as inventory and business scale
  • Coordinates with manufacturing department to ensure shipments are accurately received into the system
  • Oversees inventory reconciliation efforts including review of regular cycle counts
  • Manages product plans and assembly timelines relevant to operations team
  • Builds positive and collaborative relationships with vendors

What are we looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field: engineering, economics, mathematics, or similar.
  • 2 - 4 years of experience in Operations, Supply Chain, or planning
  • Exceptional analytical skills with demonstrated commitment to accuracy and thoroughness
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, NetSuite or similar ERP
  • Sense of urgency, and ability to manage multiple time sensitive tasks
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Comfortable in a fast paced and unstructured start-up environment
  • Positive, self-motivated, team-oriented and with a customer focused mindset
